OH MY FUCKING GOD.
Yeah, that would be the sound of me having just finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. (It's kinda tricky reading a book that my housemates aren't supposed to know I actually have. I'd read it at night, like, when they're asleep with the door closed and shit, but Magneto seems to be able to tell when I've got the light on after my curfew. I mean, he never says anything, just like, smiles in this mind fuck of a way. Probably the electromagnetic whatzit radiating from the light bulb or something. I dunno. Physics was never my strong point.)
Thanks, Miss B. For the book. (and the illustration: I deleted the cache and everything in the temp folder and I'm still alive and so are you, so I don't think they found it.)
...I'm still reeling from the book. If that's what war's really like, if there isn't any purpose or meaning or right and wrong; if it's just what we do that defines us and makes sense of our motives...I dunno if I wanna go to war.

Electromagnetic radiation is right, really. Any visible light waves have levels of that. It's- *does not go into black body radiation or atoms, and forcibly stops self from spitting out the entire chapter* Right. Ahem.
Thanks, Miss B. For the book.
Welcome. Though I must point out Jamie is the one who fended off all the other students away from the copy long enough for me to send it to you. ;)

Glad you liked it and thank you thank you thank you! *breathes* No car's fallen on my head or anything.

The author brought a lot of things from black & white to shades of grey in this one, didn't she...

I dunno if you'd call "handing them any one of the umpteen gazillion other copies" fending off, exactly. I'd wonder if Mr. Summers hijacked a Barnes & Noble delivery truck to get that many the day of, but, well, it's Mr. Summers, and I think the mental image would make my head explode.
I wish my grandfathers were still around to ask about the war stuff.

Remember?

But I meant, when she said "try having the real thing parading around outside the window" or whatever it was.

It's a lovely suit.
You're sure there isn't more of it?

Think about it.

Did you mean what I just thought you meant, or is Alison corrupting me?

You know what I thought you meant, Johnjohn.
And I'm pretty sure I was right, too.
Which is. Um.

electromagnetic whatzit radiating from the light bulb
I can only feel light bulbs if I concentrate but I'm betting M1 is more sensitive to that than I am.
Take care of yourself, John.

Re:
Disc is too if you still want it.

And disc would be nice, if I had something to play it on.
Re:
Mush aside. Disc I could have managed. DVD player and TV are out of my smuggling league.
