As your favorite Junior Prom Committee Member, I am here to remind all of you Juniors that it's Prom Ticket buying time!

So, if you want to dance the night away at The (AMAZING) Grandview (which you all totally should because we've been working super hard and it is going to be completely awesome), let me know how many and I will make sure you get some.

And I will also be using this ticket count to make sure our limo is big enough. Because, yes, we are getting a limo to make sure we arrive in the utmost style as is befitting of us.

Now that Easter has passed, it is necessary for me to see all current students about a project. For those of you who were here last year and are familiar with this mission, please do not remind any of the staff or spoil the surprise for any new students. New students, wear something comfortable that you do not mind getting dirty. We will meet tomorrow before classes in the gymnasium.

Walking Dead viewing party in the rec room.

New episode starts at 9.

I for one am breathless with anticipation at the possibilities these new episodes will bring. What sort of insight into the true nature of humanity in the absence of society's facade will we gain? How many walkers will Michonne decapitate with that awesome sword of hers? What is up next with that cray-cray Governor?

So excited!!!

I think Miss Frost is starting to give me the evil eye and planning something awful whenever I don't turn in my already late late homework. I am falling so behind from those two weeks I was gone. Please help me?!

So...anyone that speaks French better than I do maybe willing to help me prep for a test on Monday? I didn't think it would be this hard.

I doubt the roomie would appreciate foreign conversations early on a Saturday morning, so I'll probably find someplace quiet to practice. Maybe the greenhouse classroom.

So just a little head's up, guys.

Pappa Wheelie just "asked" me to show around some prospective student tomorrow. And by "asked" I mean "told me I was going to be doing it." But whatever.

So if you see a lost little puppy dog tomorrow, be nice, I guess. I'll try to keep him tethered to me at all times, but you never know with kids these days. He might decide to sneak off and go smoke behind the bleachers or something.

Hi Students!

With the new school year starting this week your RAs (Korvus and myself) would like to invite you all out for dinner one night this weekend (maybe Friday?) to celebrate the beginning of another school year and to officially introduce ourselves to all of you and to see how everyone's first couple days of classes went. Location TBD (it will be somewhere with awesome meat dishes and also awesome vegetarian dishes!)

We'd also like to make this a monthly event if people are interested. We figured it would be a nice way to get everyone together away from the teachers and assignments to talk about how everyone's getting along. Let us know you thoughts!

Regards,
Sharon.

Impromptu movie night!

We're taking over the TV to watch us some "Hunger Games" y'all!

I made up some tasty popcorn, and if you're nice to me I may share.

Hey everyone,

I don't want to steal Sarah's or Yvette's thunder, but there is a protest at the Genoshan Embassy tomorrow. I hope you will check out their posts and join us there tomorrow.

And we don't have to get to New York on our own. I spoke with Ms. Frost and she told me that a bus will be going from Xavier's to the protest.

As some of you may have heard by now, the Friends of Humanity are planning to picket the PFOM event we were scheduled to attend tomorrow. We will not be canceling the trip, but we will be taking a few precautions.

First of all, you will be issued scramblers Dr. McCoy invented. Please wear them at all times - they will prevent your face from being filmed or photographed.

Secondly, the chaperones will be myself, Mr. Summers, Ms. Petrovic, and Mr. Colbert. Mr. Wilson has volunteered to come along, and Angelo Espinosa will be participating in the event. Additionally, Mr. Kane and Ms. Cassidy will be present, though they will have other duties. Please alert any one of us if you see or experience a problem.

Finally, in the event you are harassed, please do your best not to engage the picketers. If possible, ignore them. If not, call one of the chaperones. There will be a police presence keeping an eye on things, too, so please use your common sense.

We will be leaving at 8 AM tomorrow. And yes, there will be food there.

Minions!

I've posted a sign-up sheet on the door of the main TV room for volunteering shifts at the soup kitchen, as we discussed before. I expect to see names filling it up by Friday.

Thank you for your time, happy to be your benevolent overlord.

(Yes, I totally stole all of that from Wade. He has to catch me to take revenge, so NYA!)

Greetings, I understand you to be my peer group. I have always spoken English in a formal setting and it would be of great relief to me if you would help me practice speaking casually. I know from learning Malay that an individual who speaks formally is difficult to congregate with. In Madripoor I only spoke English to follow instructions and ask for clarification on tasks when Malay was not available. My mother was English but I was expected to speak Hindi while at home. I was tutored and there we also only spoke of English in a formal context. I do enjoy Sherlock Holmes but that is not helpful with modern or American slang. I would appreciate your help in this endeavor and joyfully anticipate meeting you.

After everything that has happened and with the holidays begun, I was wondering if people would enjoy the outing? I was thinking perhaps ice skating at the Salem Center outdoor rink? It is certainly cold enough!

Who would like to come? Next Monday might be the good day, yes?

Hey everyone, I’ve got some bad news. Fred had an accident while doing some powers training today. He’s currently comatose down in Medlab- but stable too, so that’s good I guess. Dr. McCoy said that he’d allow some visitors in today, so if you need me or want to come see Fred, I’ll be down there.

So as you may or may not have heard, I've been approved. First order of business, I'd like to declare an outing this Saturday. There's an amusement park a reasonable distance from here, and there nothing better to bond over than funnel cakes and roller coasters. Volunteers?

ETA: There will be no, I repeat, NO ADVENTURES on this trip. Do we understand each other?

It is seeming the X-Men had the hard time because everyone I have seen is hurt - who is wanting to help me to be doing the food making and delivering? It will not take so long if we are all working together.

Angel, it would be good for you to be thinking about something else, so I will be dragging you from the room if you do not come. ;)

Hey guys

Yvette and I are planning on getting together on Wednesday to read through Midsummer Night's Dream. Kyle offered up his Shakespeare book, so hopefully it'll help us understand what's being said.

We're all going to take turns reading parts, to get a hang of how to speak in Shakespeare before we audition. And familiarize ourselves with the text.

To the attention of anyone else in New Mutants team one- it's come to my attention I haven't met some of you yet!  Let's meet up and have lunch together tomorrow if you don't have plans.

Are you in?

Um, Hi?

I'm not really sure what to write here, but I was told it would be a good idea to introduce myself. So...here we go!

My name is Julian Keller and I'm new here. I'm from Beverly Hills, California, where it's about fifty degrees warmer by the way. I love to play basketball and swim, watch sports, hang out with friends and just screw around. I just turned 17...um...I'm a Scorpio...*shrug* What else would you like to know?

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone- they put me into suite four, so feel free to stop on by while I'm unpacking.

Peace,
~JK~

1) Is there the new student? There was a strange girl talking to Mr. Sefton.

2) I was getting the email from the Professor about a new student group and a camping trip. What do people think of this?
