I swear to God, I couldn't even see straight when I was typing. The gall of that crass, vile son-of-a-bitch! I don't give a shit who he is, you do NOT come into OUR home and then start talking to us that way. What a fucking ignorant ass. How DARE he talk to us like that, how dare he, especially when anyone has access to that journal and God only knows some of us are clinging to any shred of self-esteem on a daily basis. I am stunned by his complete lack of tact and decency and his outright... meanness. I've read my elementary psych texts, thank you, and I can pick out verbal abuse and attempted intimidation from a MILE away. I have a wide tolerance for many things, but THAT? Mocking us in our own home? I won't take that shit. Not from him, not from anyone. It's the principle of the thing. This is supposed to be a safe space for mutants, regardless of what bastards like Stryker have to say about it, and I will not let someone walk in here and make it UNsafe. Not a chance. And if he's allowed to stay, allowed to get away with it, I don't know what I'll do. This is our home. Some of us weren't given the choice to be here. Some of us have defended it in the worst of circumstances. We have the right to be respected here. And if I'm wrong about that, then I've got no reason to stay. I've met kinder truckers on the highways and I'll take my chances with them instead.

This is going to sound insane but no powers, unless we can help it.

If he is dangerous, the teachers, who know their powers better than we know ours, I think, should do it, and if he isn't, I think the last thing we want to do is prove him right.

Doug's power doens't count. Neither do my dreams if they're a power thing.

Neither does telepathy, or Manuel's empathy, if I can talk him into helping. I am thinking he doesn't like Mister Marko much anyway.

Finding out what we have not be told might be. It is not as if this is the first time a teacher has been more than they claimed.

Okay, yeah, but insomnia makes you pretty paranoid too, y'know. And you've also had dreams about me and mayonnaise. Can you maybe try for some perspective and judge the guy on what he's actually done, which is yell at people--way more harshly than he needed to, I'll give you--about making his job harder, instead of what you think maybe he might someday be capable of?

He called us terribly rude names, he threatned to drag people to homeless shelters by their hair, or collar or something, he yells and is generally a jerk.

He accuses us of having no respect for anything, when it is a bare few of us who break rules.

That on top of the nightmares mean that I want to know if I should worry. That is all. I don't think it is our job to make him go away or leave or anything.

We didn't know anything about Doctor Essex, and we trusted him, some of us. Only, look what happened.

Okay, point, but why are people going straight for invasion of privacy instead of, y'know, asking the Professor about it? I mean, he hired the guy, and after Essex don't you think he's more careful about who he lets in here too?

Of course.

But, I think sometimes it is better, safer, to do first and ask later, so long as it is not dangerous.

If we look at the public knowledge, and see something odd, then asking is good. If we ask first, we run a risk of being told not to look at all, and then we worry more.

the other day he was very nice. today he acts like her wants to hurt us.

one act of kindness does not render nightmares and potentially abusive scare-tactics null. and even the professor can make mistakes, just like us.

I agree with you Jamie, he might have quick strong words, but he still puts in good work on the house.

All I have to say is the moment, someone steps up and says they can do a better job of cleaning this place up, then they can start talking about getting rid of him.
