Punishment detail for me and Lee finishes Friday. In the interests of making it worth all the pain and suffering and bitching and moaning (and before anyone starts, that's me being funny - we deserved what we got, and I'm not saying otherwise), your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to think of something suitably fun to do Friday night, _away_ from the mansion, since Angie and me can only think of clubbing and that doesn't seem unusual enough.

If you don't choose to accept the challenge, Blinky will come and eat your socks and George the werelight will keep you awake all night. So there.

Rocky Horror

Now there's an idea. Wonder if we could convince people to dress up if this was decided on? It's traditional, afterall.

However, if people have a desire for Ten pin bowling, I remember the way.

Why am I not surprised that's the one you liked? -g-

Honestly, I hate teasing my hair as much as I'd have to to do Magenta and I fail to be blonde, which leaves Janet right out. I can, however, tap dance...

Dude, you do? Can I get directions? Even if we don't want to go this weekend we may some other time.

You know, if you went as Columbia, we'd have to some how convince Jamie to be the Meatloaf character...we'd need a hell of a lot of pillows for that, I'm thinkin'. For the costume that is, not the convincing. Somehow, I don't think hitting him with pillows would work.

And sure, directions are stashed in the top drawer of my nightstand. (The place notes go to die. I swear, I have an entire paper graveyard in that thing.) I'll give them at lunch break.

But I don't _want_ Jamie to get killed by a psychotic Tim Curry... And I don't think he'd look that good in the pillows.

Kay, cool. What else have you got in there?

-sigh- I guess I can put up with the hair teasing, if it's in a good cause.

Jubes is right, though it is Columbia, or what would be the point of the "Where do you get your drugs?" line?

Probably either of thoes would have done it... -g-

I have had a Good Idea! Stop the presses! Alert the news!

Ahem... yeah...

The great thing about trips into the city is that you don't have to hang with the group, cause there's enough other stuff going on _everywhere_ to entertain _everyone_.

Technically we don't need permission to go to NYC, I think, but we might put this out there where non-students (and, you know, Pete and Jake... -waves at the counselors-) can see this if they want to come, too.

Course, which is why I'm not worried about getting in trouble. But still, who knows. The younger teacher set (like Shinobi and Lorna and so on) don't have access and they might want to come without being a total drag...

Excellent point, love. Have fun at your cult movie phenomenon thing. :)

Anybody else up for Sky Captain? Or maybe The Forgotten, that looked interesting.

Oh sure, go to the fun crazy modern movie...

You'll see it again later with me, right?

Of course. :) As long as you don't make me go see Rocky Horror later too, anyway. I rented it once to see what the fuss was about, and Guido told me about what happens at the live showings, and it's so far from being my thing that it can't even see my thing from where it is.

Jamie?

Could you please, please, please not use 'thing' and what happens at those live shows in the same sentence because Doug uses 'thing' for something else and I am very, very very disturbed.

Don't worry, didn't really think you'd go to Rocky and of course I'm not going to make you go later. I just don't want to miss Sky Captain. I'm not sure if I even know why Rocky is my thing (sorry M-A...). -shrug- I just think it's funny, in a loud and kind of obnoxious way.

Well, I'm actually thinking of going to Shaun of the Dead instead, unless there's other people who don't want to catch Rocky Horror and they all want to see something else. You don't get that many British zombie comedies. :)

True enough. I get no British zombie comedies at all, cause zombies are creepy. You fully have my blessings, then, and we'll do Sky Captain later.
