I will now sneak out into the garden for some more revising. If I'm not back I won't have found a safe way back in - good thing it's so warm....

Oh, and lookee here, that's what my dearest Da wrote on the postcard he sent me from Guatemala:

A lass with a powerful voice
had nightmares and made lots of noise
she thought it a curse,
made things only worse
but bore her fate with lots of poise.

Gee, isn't he a true poet? How could stuff go wrong in my life with a father who gives such useful advice...

Now off to worry some more about a way to fess up...

Not a problem. I'm pretty sure you're overreacting, though--and anyway, if you're hiding, isn't it kinda silly to tell people where you're going to be?

Well, that makes sense.

Just don't let it build up into this huge thing in your mind, okay? I always think things are going to be worse than they end up being, when I get in trouble. Think about how nice it'll feel when you don't think you have to hide anymore.

Not a problem... and it's all fixed, so it's probably safe-ish not to hide...


And if you're planing on fessing go with "I'm really really sorry and it was an accident..." Straightforward and true!
