приятель,

Are there plans this weekend?

Call me slow, but I still want to see that Kill Bill movie. Anyone interested?

прощание,
Piotr

Urgh, Tarantino. Sorry, man, I'm about full up on gore for this year.

Maybe that new guy, Shiro, would like it though.

It was an interesting movie. A totally incorrect portrayal of the Yakuza (especially since they had a non-Japanese woman lead it), but entertaining actions scenes. I'll tell you, though, that real humans do not have such high blood pressure that they spray blood like that when they lose limbs. I think the director watched too much anime and can no longer differentiate between real people and animated people.

That would be my theory as well, Shiro. Blood just does not spray everywhere like that. But I also agree that the action scenes were very entertaining. I do enjoy a good mindless action movie every now and again.

Well, Tarantino's always liked unnecessary gore--watch From Dusk Till Dawn, for example, where there's a mariachi band whose instruments are made out of people bits. I heard about the fire-hose blood from some friends online and that would've about done it for me if I was in the theater, I've taken too much biology and anatomy (and helped my mom with her vet practice too much) for that to be at all believable.

Oh, I'm sure he didn't--probably a deliberate stylistic choice. Just not one I like, which is why I don't want to see the movie.

Already saw it, but I'm up for seeing it again, if you want.

You know I can't read that Russian stuff. So, when did you want to go?
