Welcome Back Dinner!

Hi Students!

With the new school year starting this week your RAs (Korvus and myself) would like to invite you all out for dinner one night this weekend (maybe Friday?) to celebrate the beginning of another school year and to officially introduce ourselves to all of you and to see how everyone's first couple days of classes went. Location TBD (it will be somewhere with awesome meat dishes and also awesome vegetarian dishes!)

We'd also like to make this a monthly event if people are interested. We figured it would be a nice way to get everyone together away from the teachers and assignments to talk about how everyone's getting along. Let us know you thoughts!

Hmm I dunno actually, so I'll let him answer that! I was going to try and take the little bus we have for Saturday bus runs to keep everyone together. Did you want to help me drive the bus? (Maybe you can drive it home or something?)

I read that as 'cartoonists' instead of 'contortionists' the first time and it made me giggle so much! Now I have a picture in my head of you being a cartoon kitty or a wolf or rabbit doing funny cartoony things with your body!

Ooo! Yesyesyes! I like it!

It wasn't so bad. I thought I was a cat the whole time, I mean I didn't know I was really a human mutant, or how to shift or anything like that, so it wasn't so bad. I didn't know what skritches felt like or pillows or blankets and I didn't know what cooking was or woods or quarries or books or friends so I was never sad about missing any those things. So it wasn't so bad.

Just...umm, okay... how about if you only get us lost on the way home? So at least we all have full stomachs? Getting lost while hungry, that is the worst!

It was like... easy. It was so easy. All that feral cats (at least the ones I knew) care about is food and warmth. (And having kittens, but I never even cared about that, I guess because really I had a human brain the whole time and human children don't think about that until they're older.) I think a lot of times they die before that but I don't know if many were older than that so yeah 10 is a good number. But because I'm human I aged like a human. I just didn't know it at the time.

I think that sort of makes sense to me, because I know things that are weird for me but not weird weird! (When I first learned I was a mutant and tried to live like a human, EVERYTHING was weird for me but not weird weird.)

Me and Road Rash are on the hunt as I type this (on my phone obvs since I'd totally walk into a wall if I was doing this on a laptop while walking). We will find a Button Making Machine Thingie (tm) or die trying! But I'm really hoping we find it because dying would suck.

Weurd, yes! And they are veryveryfunky like stoners, yesyes! This is another reason why humans are totally weird weird. At least, the English-speaking ones. The language is very silly! That was probably the worst part about learning how to be human. Grammar and spelling. And names for things when the names do not make sense.

I just got home from school. Trackercat, engaged! (In like five minutes.)

If I was still a cat and had to spell it I think I would spell it weeurd. Definitely two e's, yes! Hmm I don't know German. I should learn it. It sounds like it makes more sense than English. I do not know why we need 20 words to say happy! I asked questions like this a lot when I was learning. I think you're the first person I've known who thinks less words are better!

I like weeurd. Can that be the new unofficial official spelling? Less words are totally better. Especially when your vocabulary is like challenged like mine. I can teach you German! Okay, I can teach you like some German. I can totally teach you recipes for German food in German because Herr Wuschelig is fucking bad ass like that (translation: Mister Fuzzy, that's right, I'm classy). And German sounds a lot like English so sometimes it's super fucking easy unlike all those letters French people don't actually pronounce. Like, wtf do you need that many vowels for?
